The Berge Guesthouse in Aschau, Germany is a 1670s bakery remodelled into 13 apartments by designer Nils Holger Moorman.

The rooms range from two-story living quarters to a ‘sleep cell’ designed for backpackers. Visitors are encouraged to use a communal space which has a library, kitchen and socializing area nestled next to a fireplace.
