I imagine this is one of the oddest feelings in the world. To lay in bed next to another actor and pretend to be a normal couple. Not faking sex but just going through the motions of the ups and downs of being in love, raising a family, holding down a job, dealing with life’s problems, and arguing about the mundane things in life. It’s not escapist acting. I’m sure they’re thinking about the same exact issues in their own life at the same time. Meta-acting, if you will.
