Here’s the Widelux F6B’s 26mm lens in action. It sits inside a turret with an exposed slit and when the shutter is pressed, the turret rotates drawing light onto film in a slow sweep. Think of the round turnstile doors you see at the entrance to fancy hotels — it works just like that. So rather than exposing the film in one go, light gets “painted” across the film.
