"Should I Eat This?" questions on Ask Metafilter
I love this category of odd questions for morbid reasons. Many of them involve food that have been left out or are past the expiration date. Some highlights:
- Wheat bread, yellow mustard, fat free mayo, precooked breaded chicken patty, and American cheese sandwich left out in the back of a sedan
- Black, tar-like honey from a beehive that fell out of a palm tree
- A bottle of Sam Adams Triple Bock, ca. 1994
- Soup from an eternally-boiling pot of soup
- Sprouted potatoes
- Mussels steamed in beer while pregnant
- Moisturizer made with 100% cocoa butter
- Live wasp
- Blue cheese with new mold
- Bright blue garlic
