I’m sick to my stomach for missing this. JetBlue, +10 points.

This is the Terminal 5, better known as that retro futuristic-looking terminal in Steven Spielberg’s Catch Me If You Can. In a prior life, it was the TWA Flight Center designed by iconic modernist architect, Eero Saarinen. It’s a real sight with large, parabolic glass windows and swooping concrete wings. A shame they didn’t restore the original orange shag carpeting.

Dashboard readers, view the full post for photos from the original 1962 terminal.

I’m not sure how much of the interior design was retained by JetBlue for Terminal 5 but we’ll find out soon.

If I had the chance, I’d be signing up for this in a heartbeat.
