If you're a packrat like me, you want Dropbox
In the last few weeks, I’ve been storing my work files, documents, receipts, stock images, and various odds and ends on Dropbox. It’s a great little tool that lets you store and sync files across multiple computers (PC or Mac). On your computer, it shows up as a folder in My Documents (Windows) and the Finder Bar (Mac). Files you save in the folder gets synchronized to your Dropbox and then to your other computers when you fire them up. You can also log in and browse your Dropbox from any browser which is great if you need to pull up a receipt or photo in a public computer (hotel, airport, cafe). Best of all, it stores revisions of files - perfect if you clumsily overwrite files or hit the save button too soon from time to time like me.
