Contemplating an MC Arax 35mm f2.8 Tilt-shift lens for my camera. They’re not cheap but they’re ideal for architecture shots (perspective correction) and getting more control over product photography. And you can also do those slick “miniatures” photos with them.

Here’s a few samples from a Shuttertalk Forum post:

With the lens tilted to the left, notice how the vertical plane from the head to the tail is in focus while everything in front and behind it is out of focus. With a normal lens, just the head would be in focus:



With “shift” perspective correction, the building lines are straight even though the photo is taken from the ground level:
